🎨 Artistic Advocacy: Talented artists converge in our magazine, using the creative canvas of comics to communicate crucial SRHR information to at-risk youths, both within and outside of school. We’re not just breaking the stigma; we’re dismantling it through vibrant visuals and compelling storytelling.
💪 Empowering Through Understanding: Our mission is clear – to inform, educate, and empower. By challenging societal norms, sparking conversations, and promoting understanding and acceptance, we’re creating a society where knowledge prevails and acceptance reigns.
🌍 A Collaborative Effort: Inroads for Youth joined hands with us in our Artists Bursting Abortion Stigma project and festival, held from August to October 2022. This collaboration birthed our second edition, delving into critical subjects like Gender and Rights, Abortion, Menstrual Hygiene, and the infamous Truth Comic series. Our objective was simple: raise awareness about often-avoided topics, including safe abortions. We aimed to educate school-going girls, promote awareness of gender equality rights, and shed light on the risks associated with early pregnancies.
